That's a lot of gobble!

So, part of the reason I was so super sleepy last night was Mrs Denise's fault! I am pretty sure she is one of my biggest fans. Mom's plan was for me to stay home and chill yesterday afternoon, but Mrs Denise invited ME to her Turkey Party and of course I had to go!

The whole party was to collect frozen turkeys for The Redwood Gospel Mission. Duh! I totally had to go be cute for that!

The Turkey Party collect 216 frozen turkeys! That's a lot of gobble!

(Scooter with a small portion of the turkeys, surrounded by coolers full of turkeys)

While we were there, we got to hang out with one of the guys who helped train Poppy. How cool to run into random people who know what I am all about! (Cause I am so much more than a cute face!)

The peeps did lots of talking, so I did lots of pretending to sleep while gathering dirt on the peeps. Hehehe

(Scooter asleep by the coffee table)

I may have snoozed a bit - do you know how hard it is to ignore so much food?? AT puppy nose level?? So tiring - all that being good!

I was super excited to be a part of Thanks for Giving! Love being able to help others! What are YOU during this holiday season??

Done now!

It's been another busy weekend around here! I'm so sleepy I can't even think about all that I did today.

High 5 for for a great weekend with my peeps.

Who trained this lady??

Dear Mama,
Ummm... I'm not sure how to you this, but I think you need to reread your puppy raising manual. It is so hard for me not to just ignore this one rule, look the other way and let you get away with it. But, I can't.

Things you have taught me:
1) All food has to be in my bowl
2) I can't take food from hands unless
A) I have been told to "Come!"
B) I hear the work "Nice!"
C) Both of the above require that I do not take any fingers with the kibble.
3) I never ever ever pick up food off the floor.

#3 is where your trouble started. Because we went out last night, you fed me dinner early. I'm always happy to oblige and eat when you put the food in my bowl.

But we get home and you get some dog cookies out. You say they will help the dog tummies not get too empty over night (I'm a bit acidy). Ok, I appreciate you looking out for my belly. But we need to talk about your delivery.

Remember #3???

(Scooter in the crate, looking away from the cookie on the floor)

Just because you forgot to put it in my bowl does not mean that you can just toss it in my bed for me to eat. I do NOT see a bowl in my crate! So, here I sit, having to look away from it, pretending it is not there.

Please go back a read your rule book and come back to fix this problem!

Hurry! Please! It's killing me!

Dinner with friends

Tonight, we all went out to dinner with our friend Stacy and Miss Sophie. I don't know what all happened above the table, but there was lots of laughing, lots of eating, lots of wine and who knows what else! I don't get people! They ate dinner for hours and hours! Who does that?!? The food comes, I eat, then it's time to play. But not for the people! Food came, they talked and laughed. More food came and it was the same thing. I heard them saying something about toast too. I don't know how they made toast - I didn't see a toaster anywhere!

Luckily, there was one civilized person with us.

(Sophie the guide dog under the table)

I followed her advice and took a nap while the people yammered on and on.

(Scooter sacked out under a chair)

And don't even get me started on the hysterical laughter that happened once we were all back in the car. I am pretty sure these people are nuts. Dagan, take me away!

Whatcha lookin for?

Dear Mama,
What are you looking for, wandering all over the house? You keep calling my name, but I am right here!

(Scoot sitting right on the heels of the one looking for him)

I hope you find what you are looking for! I am getting tired walking around right behind you.

So funny!
Love,
Scooter

Puppy Shopping Class

Guess what we learned at puppy class tonight?? Shopping!!! Mom wouldn't give me any allowance, so all I could do was browse. Boring!

At least my sister Sandy was there!

She is getting bigger, but only about half as fast as me. Most people don't think we are related. But she is super cute and full of spunk!

We met some new friends too!

(a blurry Scoots meeting a toddler)

Then we played some games on the floor screen. Such fun!

Now someone please give me my allowance so I can shop!!!
